WV v. MD

I don't know if the talk of WVU as natl title contenders is legit, but there offense seems to be.

If nothign else, its INCREDIBLY fun to watch. Soooooooooo much speed. Slaton can flat out fly and just made a couple of MD defenders look silly. Pat White is pretty fleet of foot also and their WR #2 put the okey doke on a DB.


So much team speed. Slaton just broke another 50 yarder. Slaton for Heisman. He's my man

Thoughts on that or WV in general? I mean, obviously MD sucks, but still.

Well it will help out their strength of schedule alot when Louisville beats Miami by 3 touchdowns this weekend.

West Virginia has a really easy schedule and should win most of their games. I dont think they are on the same level as Ohio State or USC but they are a quality team.

P.S. People here are still worried about Louisville, as long as they have Brohm (also their back up RB's appear to be the opposite of suck) they'll be just fine.

It's funny but Louisville's not hated so bad, apparently the fans seem to respect each other b/t the two schools, who would've thunk it?

West Virgina with the exception of Ohio St., is the best all around football team that I have seen thus far this season. No team other than the Buckeyes has the offensive explosiveness of WV.

I think WVU's offense can play with anybody in the nation, however their defense still needs some work, especially in the secondary. If they are going to beat Louisville the secondary will have to step up in my honest opinion. I do think they are for real. I think its funny that people down the big east, when the big east is already 4-2 against bcs conferences this season.

They are "legit" because they play in the Big "Easy". That conference is a joke. I'll admit that they are a good team, but IMO not a national title contendor. However, Im pretty sure that with the schedule they play, they'll be in the top 5 in the BCS.

i think i may have underestimated them...however, if they play in any of the big conferences then theyre never mentioned in the national title hunt

i wish they would play a good team, but you may not see that until the bowl game with Michael Bush out
